During the peak period of China-France passenger flights, 33 flights will be implemented on the same day!

On April 7, the People's Republic of China and the French Republic issued a joint statement. Among them, Article 21, China and France support the airlines of the two countries in a coordinated manner between the civil aviation departments of the two countries to resume the implementation of the "Air Traffic Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the French Republic" signed on June 1, 1966 and Relevant aviation rights arrangements are the goal, and air connectivity will be restored to pre-epidemic levels as soon as possible. Airlines of the two countries should enjoy fair and equal opportunities when operating flights between China and France.  The two countries support deepening people and economic exchanges, including visa facilitation for private sector personnel and business people from both countries. 470 aircraft orders! Air India announces completion of first phase of five-year transformation plan

According to the "Financial Times", Air India announced today that the company has completed the first phase of the five-year transformation plan. The first phase of the airline's transformation journey focuses on solving the airline's legacy problems and laying the foundation for future growth.

In terms of key investments, Air India placed a historic order for 470 aircraft and announced a $400 million refurbishment of existing aircraft.

In terms of staff, cabin crew and other functions recruited a total of more than 3,800 employees to support growth and improve the customer experience. Air India has also accelerated fleet expansion, taking delivery of 36 leased aircraft in 2022-23, including 11 wide-body aircraft. That helped the airline add six new international routes while increasing frequency on another 24 routes.

Vietjet and Airbus reach strategic cooperation agreement on 119 aircraft

Vietjet Airlines (Vietjet) and Airbus Group reached a strategic cooperation agreement on the execution of an order contract for 119 aircraft, the development of a wide-body passenger fleet and other assistance in the wake of the epidemic, the Vietnam News Agency reported on November 7.  The two sides agreed to expand training for Vietjet's technical team, while moving forward with cooperation projects such as building an aviation academy. According to the report, the agreement was signed within the framework of an official visit to France by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Triet and a senior government delegation.  In November this year, Vietjet will receive and put into operation three A330 charter flights as part of a program to deploy a wide-body passenger fleet in a low-cost airline model.
